“There has been a food premises on the Fisherman’s Wharf site since the 1930’s. This was known as ‘The Shrubberies’ and was a very popular tea room in its day.
In 1986 the premises was refurbished to create Fisherman’s Wharf. Although he was consulted in the development of the new restaurant, Terry Tibble and his family didn't become fully involved until 1990. We have still maintained the original ethos of the restaurant with fresh and good quality produce, specialising in fish that is freshly prepared and served for all the family. The restaurant has continued to grow to keep up with the changing times. The addition of our conservatory just over 6 years ago gave us more year round seating and has proved very popular with our customers.
Our progress has been enhanced by the next generation of our family, Mark & Joanne Potton, coming to the fore and taking the restaurant into the future”
